Understanding Rheumatoid Arthritis

Arthritis in any form is painful not to mention rheumatoid arthritis.

So what is rheumatoid arthritis?

This is the question that must be asked by those that suffer with this condition because understanding rheumatoid arthritis is the first step to take on the way to winning the war against rheumatoid arthritis.

Understanding Rheumatoid Arthritis?

To answer this question I turned to Wikipedia and found rheumatoid arthritis defined as follows:

“Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder that may affect many tissues and organs, but principally attacks flexible (synovial) joints.

In plain English I would translate the above about what is rheumatoid arthritis into joint pain caused from inflammation. While my butchering of Wikipedia’s explanation is not likely to win a noble prize it does set us in the direction of understanding rheumatoid arthritis so that we can begin the process of treating it.
